Nicole Joy Davis

Dr. Paul Davis is a board-certified Osteopathic Family Physician with over 25 years of clinical experience and a deep passion for integrative, whole-person care. Originally from Santa Ana, California, Dr. Davis earned dual degrees in Microbiology and Chemistry from Cal State Fullerton before completing his medical education at Western University of Health Sciences in 1996. He then went on to complete his Family Medicine Residency through UC Davis at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California. Dr. Davis brings a rich background in full-spectrum Family Medicine to NJOY, including years of obstetrical care, office-based procedures, and academic teaching. He has been a dedicated physician within tribal healthcare since 1999 and continues to serve as faculty for both UC Davis and Western University of Health Sciences, mentoring the next generation of medical professionals. As NJOY’s Medical Director, Dr. Davis oversees clinical protocols and supports the integration of conventional and functional medicine approaches to optimize patient outcomes. He is committed to ensuring NJOY continues to provide safe, evidence-based, and innovative treatments in aesthetics and wellness. Outside the clinic, Dr. Davis enjoys trail running, hiking, gardening, and wakeboarding. He is a proud father of two adult children.

With over two decades of experience in the beauty and skincare industry, Shirley is a seasoned esthetician dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she graduated with highest honors from her beauty school before launching her career at the prestigious Ileana Irvine Skin Care System, one of Puerto Rico's most renowned skin clinics. There, she honed her skills as an esthetician, providing face treatments, conducting skin analysis, and performing consultations. Her passion and commitment to the craft soon earned her the title of Master Esthetician, and she became a key part of the clinic's training program, mentoring new estheticians. After relocating to California, Shirley quickly became licensed in the state and began working at a med spa in San Anselmo. This role eventually led her to work as a medical esthetician alongside a dermatologist for over 10 years, where she gained extensive experience in medical-grade skincare and advanced treatments. Eager to share her knowledge and experience with others, Shirley transitioned to teaching and became an Esthetician Educator at JD Academy in Danville, CA. As an educator, she's passionate about empowering the next generation of estheticians with the tools and expertise they need to succeed in the ever-evolving skincare industry. In addition to her esthetician career, Shirley is a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) fitness coach with a background in bodybuilding and powerlifting. Her unique combination of esthetics, fitness, and wellness allows her to approach skincare with a holistic perspective, promoting both beauty and health from the inside out. Whether working one-on-one with clients or teaching aspiring professionals, Shirley's dedication, passion, and wealth of knowledge make her a trusted expert in the field of esthetics.
